“It’s hard to tell which I
enjoyed more: watching your presentation or watching the kids
watching your presentation. Rare is the school visit during
which students are genuinely belly laughing. Thank you so much
for entertaining, educating, and inspiring us.”

- Peterborough, NH

My school presentations vary
depending on the needs of the school, but typically they
include the following:
- Discussion about the process of
writing and illustrating a children’s book, from
the initial idea to the final product.
- A fun behind the scenes look at how my
books developed and changed over time.
- Drawing demonstrations and samples
of the actual artwork used in my books with explanations of how
it was created.
- Questions and answers so children
can learn the really important things like how old I am
and where I learned to draw...
